EFT Tapping for Study Anxiety

EFT Tapping for study anxietyStudying, no matter what level, for many brings with it a degree of anxiety. Having got back into my own tertiary study this week and feeling time pressured I became aware that I wasn’t taking in what I was reading, that my mind was all over the place and my heart was beginning to beat faster. Time I thought to do some EFT tapping!

I thought I’d share with you what worked for me, to help you apply  EFT to your own situation when studying. It goes without saying you can apply EFT Tapping to anything with a due date or time restriction.  Often while EFT Tapping aha moments occur where you get down to what the real issue actually is….as Bob Proctor says “the truth isn’t always in the appearance of things!”

Phrases I used for EFT Tapping for study anxiety

Even though I feel so anxious studying again, I have so many other things I need to be doing right now…

Even though my mind seems to be all over the place, I’m not taking in what I’m reading, I’m feeling anxious and my heart is racing…

At this point I realised the real issue was that I was feeling frazzled because I didn’t understand what was required of me in the assignment and I’d rushed it because of other things that needed attending to. I then used EFT Tapping as follows…

Even though I’ve rushed through this and don’t really understand what is being asked of me for this asignment and I’m feeling anxious I choose to be calm and relaxed.

Then tapping through the points I took a leaf out of Pat Carrington’s book and tapped through the points for one round on “Study anxiety” then a second round on “Calm and Relaxed”, then a third round alternating the two statements ending with “Calm and Relaxed”

I then when back over my assignment questions and was able to easily break the assignment down into chunks and understand what was required…anxiety gone!

Anytime you feel overwhelmed with study anxiety or anything with a deadline I’d encourage you to use EFT Tapping to release the anxiety and to increase clarity.
